This hands-on 1-day course is based on the current Microsoft 365 Desktop version of PowerPoint. Participants using earlier versions will be able to follow along, although some of the newest features may not be available in older versions.
This intermediate course is designed for learners with training or experience with PowerPoint equivalent to On-Track PowerPoint 365 Level 1. Experienced self-taught users may find this course a valuable refresher.

Transforming lists into SmartArt, customizing SmartArt layouts
Using icons, advanced picture formatting, and working with vector graphics
Inserting charts, modifying chart layouts and styles, editing chart data
Linking charts to Excel worksheets for dynamic updates
Creating tables, adjusting styles and layouts, using grid tools, merging/splitting cells
Customizing shapes with edit points
Inserting and formatting audio and video, trimming media, setting playback options, and embedding vs. linking considerations
Applying motion paths, animation sequences, timing and duration settings, triggers
Managing the Animation Pane for polished effects
Fine-tuning transition effects, using timing and automation
Using action buttons, hyperlinks, and triggers to build menus, non-linear navigation, and self-running presentations
Inserting linked Excel tables/charts, embedding objects, exporting slides to Word, and using PowerPoint with Teams for live presentations
Using Comments, Compare feature, spell check, and accessibility checker to finalize presentations
Custom slide shows, hidden slides, rehearsal tools, presenter view customization
Exporting presentations to video or PDF
